Financial Disclosure and Organizational Relationships

In the interest of full transparency, the School Neuropsychology Institute (SNI) provides the following information about ownership and organizational relationships to prospective students, applicants, and consumers of SNI's training programs.

Dr. Julie Gettman and Dr. Christopher Bedford are co-owners of both the School Neuropsychology Institute (SNI) and the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP). Both organizations operate as for-profit entities.

Dr. Gettman serves as Executive Director of SNI and holds active governance and operational authority over SNI's programs, course development, and business operations. She receives direct compensation for her administrative and instructional role at SNI.

Dr. Bedford serves as Associate Director of SNI and as Executive Director of ABSNP, where he manages all ABSNP operations and organizational governance. Dr. Gettman is co-owner of ABSNP but holds no governance authority, executive role, operational responsibility, or decision-making role within ABSNP, and receives no direct compensation from ABSNP.

SNI training is not required to obtain the Diplomate in School Neuropsychology credential from ABSNP. ABSNP recognizes multiple pathways to eligibility independent of SNI training; full eligibility criteria are available at www.absnp.com/eligibility.php. Prospective students and applicants are encouraged to review these criteria directly and to contact either organization with questions about their individual qualifications.
