Online Continuing Education

Overview

Continuing Education (CE) webinars are open to any mental health practitioner who is expanding their knowledge base or needs continuing education units to maintain their professional credentials. The CE webinars are recorded sessions from experts in the content presented. CE registrants will be granted access to the instructional materials for a six-month period. To obtain CE credits and receive the CE certificate, registrants must watch the recorded webinar then pass a brief review quiz.

Registration and Fees

All CE webinars are listed under the Courses tab and are searchable. Fees are noted with each CE webinar and correspond to the number of hours of content and CE credits earned. After registering and payment you will receive access to the program in your portal. Login to the website to access the CE webinar recording, review quiz, transcript of all completed modules, and download your CE certificate(s). CE certificates remain in each user’s portal for 5 years after the course completion date. CE purchasers are encouraged to download and store a copy of their CE Certificate of Completion to retain a permanent copy for their records.

Group Registration

To arrange for the presentation of a recorded CE webinar as part of a group in person or virtual training experience, please click on the CE Webinar - Group Registration link. Groups of 5 or more qualify for a 5% discount off the original fee. Groups of 10 or more qualify for a 10% discount off the original fee. Information for each participant can be entered so each receives CE credit. Each group member must pass their own review quiz after viewing the CE webinar to obtain the CE certificate. Each group member will receive an invite to register for the course and access the CE webinar recording, review quiz, view transcripts of all completed modules, and download CE certificate(s).

Policies

If a purchaser of a CE webinar is not satisfied with the content or encounters technical problems that prohibit the purchaser from accessing the CE lecture notes or webinar recording, they may ask for a full refund of the purchase price of the CE webinar, provided they have not completed the webinar for credit. Once a purchaser completes the review quiz and obtains a passing score, no refunds will be permitted.

The School Neuropsychology Institute is responsible for the webinar interface for delivery of the CE webinars and the maintenance of the CE certificates for 5 years from the completion of the CE course. CE purchasers are encouraged to download and store a copy of their CE Certificate of Completion to retain a permanent copy for their records. The School Neuropsychology Institute will make every effort to maintain a record of an individual's completed CE webinars and other company-sponsored training for 5 years from the completion of the course.

All CE content is reviewed by School Neuropsychology Institute staff before it is posted to make sure that the content is appropriate, thorough, and has a balanced coverage of the topic.

The materials provided as part of the CE webinars are copyrighted and approval must be obtained from the School Neuropsychology Institute and the presenter before disseminating any of the content to others. The CE webinars are intended for the express educational use of the paid purchaser.

Once a CE webinar is purchased, the purchaser will have continued access to the content (lecture notes, handouts, and webinar recordings) for six months; at which point access to that content will be closed.
