Online Webinar Format
Starting in November, 2009, we are going to use interactive webinars to deliver the content of the course and to provide clinical supervision over the Internet as an alternative to using the traditional face-to-face delivery option. There are many school psychologists who are interested in the training but cannot travel to regional training sites due to time and monetary constraints. The online Webinar format provides several advantages to the face-to-face format, but the face-to-face option will still be choice for some students. The advantages of the online Webinar format include:
- Students will receive lectures from multiple school neuropsychologist faculty members who each have their own areas of expertise.
- The lecture notes from the online Webinars will be recorded and students in the course will be able to go back and review the lectures at a later time while they are enrolled in the program.
If you have a PC with high-speed Internet access and a microphone, you have all you need to participate in this training. The tuition cost has been reduced from $5,250 for the traditional face-to-face format of the course to $4,500 for the Webinar format. Also the length of the program has increased by one month to a total of nine months. The interactive webinars will start in November, 2009 and the class will end at the National School Neuropsychology Summer Institute in July, 2010.
